Triple Yahtzee is three games of Yahtzee on one card
The dice part does not change. You roll five dice up to three times a turn and keep what you like between rolls. Every box scores the usual way, as in the Yahtzee rules.
- Three columns. Each column has all 13 boxes: Ones to Sixes, then Three of a kind down to Chance.
- Any box, any column. After each turn you write a score in one open box. The columns do not have to be filled in order.
- Multiply at the end. Write scores as they are. When the game is over, add each column, then double column 2 and triple column 3.
- 39 turns. 13 boxes times three columns. The highest grand total wins.
The same roll is worth three times as much in column 3
That is the whole puzzle of Triple Yahtzee. A good roll tempts you to use column 3, but then that box is gone. A weak roll or a 0 usually belongs in column 1, where that box was worth the least anyway.

How the grand total adds up
- Add each column on its own: upper boxes, the 35 bonus if that column’s top six reach 63, then the lower boxes.
- Keep column 1 as it is. Double column 2. Triple column 3.
- Add the three results, plus bonus chips: 100 each in column 1, 200 in column 2 and 300 in column 3.
A perfect column adds up to 375. Counted once, twice and three times, that is 2,250, the highest possible score without bonus chips.

How do you play Triple Yahtzee?
Exactly like Yahtzee, with five dice and up to three rolls a turn. The difference is the score card: it has three columns of the same 13 boxes. Each turn you fill one open box in any column. Column 2 counts double and column 3 counts triple, so a game lasts 39 turns.
Do you have to fill the columns in order?
No. You may write a score in any open box of any column, in any order. You can fill a column-3 box on your very first turn.
